As the volume of manufacturing has increased at the North American equipment production facility, the need for a dedicated team of engineers to support production has arose. This newly formed team will utilize a variety of skill sets, development methodologies, and functional knowledge to accelerate the efficiency and scale of equipment production. This position will be located in the Hanover, MD office. ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance & design improvements on pre-defined products through ECO executionIdentify cost savings opportunities through production process improvementsDesign, build, and implement improvements to production processes & paraphernaliaAct as designated production engineer on product launch teamsHelp develop & maintain production process documentationAct as designated liaison to other specified functional groupsBe a champion of the growth mindset and continuous improvement mentalityBe a champion of lean practices and the Toyota Production SystemRequirementsB.S in Mechanical Engineering Strong mechanical and analytical abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills A self-managed individual who is a team playerLocated in Maryland and work primarily at production facilityPreferred QualificationsExperience with inventory management, lean practices, and manufacturing methodologiesExperience with Electro-mechanical designExperience with Oracle ERP softwareAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
