ITW Food Equipment Group Vulcan Cooking North America Baltimore Operations Staff Accountant (Accountant 1) Scope This position helps support the accounting requirements of our Range, Oven, and Heated Holding units that are based out of our Baltimore Plant ($90 Million). Education: BS in Accounting/Business Experience: 1-3 Years Skills/Abilities Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Access and other data tools to analyze financial data Responsibilities Assist with the monthly financial reporting needs of our Baltimore based Business units Processes and reviews system inventory cost transactions Assists with Processes Accounts Payable transactions for the Baltimore Plant Assists in the payment processing for checks, wires/ACH, and Inter-company transfers for our division Calculates and enters monthly journal entries, and reconciles balance sheet accounts Assists with our inventory, and cost roll processes at the Baltimore plant Assists with uploading and reviewing vendor price changes PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS: Office & Plant floor Environment .
