Position Title: Azure/SQL DBA Location: Arlington, VA This is a Senior Azure SQL DBA/Database Architect role responsible for providing DBA support services to the Client organization including development, testing and production environment in the Azure Cloud. This role requires a solid knowledge of SQL and Transact SQL in order to perform review analysis of stored procedures or views created or modified during development life cycle and to provide performance tuning recommendations as needed. In addition, this role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in Azure Data Factory development life cycle including design, development and support (batch process and asynchronous ETL) . Experience: 5+ years and a Bachelors' degree, or additional experience to substitute a degree Other responsibilities include: - Owning, tracking and resolving database-related incidents and service requests - Fulfilling service requests and resolving incidents within SLAs - Reviewing service-related reports and logs (database backups, maintenance, monitoring, etc.) on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved.
