CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCEGDIT is seeking a Project Manager for our FBI Technology Refresh Deployment Services team supporting the FBI Secure Teleconferencing Equipment (SVTC) initiative. This includes operation, maintenance, design, installation, and removal responsibilities for all current and future video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and custom conference rooms (VTC and/or audio-visual) located in FBI facilities worldwide. Functional Responsibility: The project manager leads technology deployment planning efforts including preparing site systems requirements documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, establishing consistent, repeatable, and well-documented processes, scheduling team resources, estimating hardware requirements, and managing warehouse inventory. The project manager is responsible for the performance of a team of roughly 10 employees. As such, the project manager monitors task status, communicates and mitigates problems, communicates accomplishments, provides technical direction, ensures completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints. This position interacts directly with government management personnel, and prepares reports for contractor management and government customers. BA/BS Position Requirements: US citizenship and an active top secret clearance are required. Must have a minimum of seven years of experience including five years of IT deployment-related experience of which two years were direct supervisory experience. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. Four (4) years' experience (in addition to minimum experience requirements) may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting voice, video, and/or data communications networks. Ability to read and understand technical drawing, diagrams and documentations. Knowledge of AV or Video teleconferencing equipment and installation practices. A current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
