Summary

This position is located within the Budget Staff Process Management Group (PMG). PMG is seeking highly qualified Management Analysts to support PMG resources in the areas business process controls, information resources management procedures, automated and information processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day oversight of multiple processes to define, establish, and manage process controls.
  • Employs quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques and makes recommendations for improvement in meeting organization goals and objectives.
  • Provide advice on benefits and use of automation to improve the efficiency of administrative support or program operations.
  • Liaises with management, program directors and staff representatives to ensure requirements are met.
  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Establishes procedures for collecting, analyzing and measuring process data to identify management solutions.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Management Analyst (GS-0343-13), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade. There may also be a positive education requirement for some occupations, please see the Education section for details. Specialized Experience GS-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or private sector, performing the following duties:1)
Experience providing day to day oversight of multiple processes to define, establish, and manage process controls. 2) Experience recommending actions to improve the quality of operational services for a major component . 3) Experience utilizing technology and data systems to track the status of assigned projects and 4) Experience analyzing data and creating visual presentations of information.

Education

EDUCATION: There is no educational substitution for the Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-13 position - applicants must demonstrate within their resume that they have at least 1 year of Specialized Experience as described under the Qualifications section that is equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-12).
