Licensed Social Worker
Social Worker Licensed Social Workers are needed to provide intensive case management services to foster children with clinical needs. The program utilizes trauma informed practice to treat difficult to place foster children with high intensity needs, with the goal of increasing stability, safety, and well-being for the child. Case managers maintain a caseload of approximately seven (7) foster children, with a minimum of two face to face and two phone contacts per month. Additionally, the program offers a variety of supportive services to the child and foster family, including crisis management and educational intervention, as supplement to the case manager's work. Foster families and program staff receive ongoing training to enhance their abilities to better serve children living with trauma. Social workers also receive clinical supervision hours from Board approved supervisors and continuing education credits towards licensure.
