As a Senior Consultant within our practice, you will: Perform IT audit readiness includingFISCAM, NIST 800-53 Work with access controls and internal controls Work with SSAE-16 and system securityplans Work with clients to identify financialcontrol issues and gaps Design and implement technicalsolutions to improve financial management activities Perform audit readiness supportingremediation of client?s audit material weaknesses, including performing A-123assessment of client?s business processes Assist with accounting and financialreporting operations Advise our clients on technicalaccounting and internal controls matters Identify opportunities for efficienciesin process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work Participate in team problem solvingefforts and offer ideas to solve client issues Conduct relevant research, dataanalysis, and create reports Maintain responsibility for completionand accuracy of work products Assist in proposal development, asrequested Actively expand consulting skills andprofessional development through training courses, mentoring, and dailyinteraction with clients The team ? Qualifications Required : ??Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other Business-related field ??Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, or higher, is required for this role ??2+ years of experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessments ??2+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting information ??Knowledge of and experience improving Federal accounting and transaction process, internal control objectives and generally accepted accounting principles ??Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and/or OMB Circular A-123 documentation, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), testing and reporting requirements ??Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance ??Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment ??Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives ??Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience ??Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools Preferred : Certifications including CPA, CDFM,CGFM, CFE, CIA, CISA Governmental accounting experience inthe IC Demonstrated experience with Momentumsoftware?
