POSITION SUMMARY Senior credit officer with a primary focus of evaluating the risks of the company's investments. You will be responsible for working closely with our investment team on the assessment and underwriting of proposed transactions including reviewing transaction documents, assisting in the preparation of investment memos, and discussing the risks with our Investment Committee. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining our credit and underwriting policies to include risk tolerances, portfolio limits, and standard documentation requirements. You will also work to assure portfolio management has established appropriate monitoring protocols for any identified risks. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as primary credit officer reviewing, underwriting, and evaluating the credit risk of every investment Works closely with the investment team to understand transaction structure, counter parties, collateral, cash flows, documentation, and other risks and mitigants Collaborates with investment team on investment memos ensuring accuracy and completeness regarding credit risk Presents conclusions regarding risks and mitigants of proposed investments to our Investment Committee Ensures that transaction documentation conforms to Investment Committee approvals Presents a summary of portfolio credit risks to our Management Team and Board of Directors Develops and maintains a credit policy that establishes risk parameters portfolio limits and standard documentation requirements Develops, in conjunction with our Portfolio Management team, appropriate reporting of portfolio credit metrics YourMembership.
