This opportunity is with an emerging organization that is well-respected in the industry.Your responsibilities in this role- Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a wide collection of sources- Settle discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required- Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects- Order documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes- Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers- Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred- Accounts Payable (AP) experience required- Solid understanding of Purchasing Functions- Microsoft Excel experience- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience- Outstanding data entry skills- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system- 1+ years of relevant experience- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environmentAccountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
