Please Send resume and relevant (Commercial interior) work samples to coppola@otj.com Strong Project Designer-Commercial Interiors Strong Revit Reports To: * Partner-in-Charge or Studio Director Supervises: * Assigned project personnel Knowledge/Skills: * Keen design sense and detail-oriented * Demonstrates technical competence in architecture and interior design * Strong understanding of materiality, appropriate application and budgetary constraints for finishes and details * Ability to manage many projects and multiple tasks within projects simultaneously (projects may be highly complex) * Knowledgeable in REVIT and other design software * Strong leadership skills * Good written and oral communication with clients and staff * Understanding of project phases and sequencing * Thorough knowledge of local building codes, project costs, and contracts * May have extra accreditation/certifications/ licenses that allow him/her to share his/her knowledge with the studio Responsibilities: * Performs tasks in each of the five project phases: Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Negotiation, and Construction Administration * Management, supervision, and coordination of staff efforts and consultants on multiple projects of varying size and scope * Effective planning, scheduling, and task management of assigned projects from start to finish * Successfully completes all contractual requirements on time and within budget, with a quality matching the OTJ values * Maintains high client satisfaction to further client relationships * Requires little or no guidance and supervision by Studio Directors, Partners, and/or Managing Partner Required Years of Experience: 7-12 years of experience
