Position Description:This position is responsible for conducting business process analysis and requirements generation for a full comprehensive report of recommendations that could be used to plan and implement a future data management system.Required Qualifications:* BS in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or demonstrate similar technical certifications in Amazon Web Services with knowledge of Windows, SQL, Unix and Linux servers* Experienced in implementing industry best practices in modernizing data center environments, leveraging cloud technologies, virtualization, and maximizing the use of cloud storage and processing capabilities* Project experience with functional/technical requirements for the recommended solution* At least 3 years' project experience translating client business needs into future capabilities* At least 3 years' experience working within a team environment* Basic knowledge how to assist in the development of Objectives for possible procurement of solution platforms* Possess or be able to obtain/maintain a Government Public Trust Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:* Azure or AWS Certified Professional* Microsoft Certified Solutions ExpertEssential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Complete initial discovery sprint* Provide a clear and concise description of the issues that need to be addressed* Provide a comprehensive description of the business requirements for the new system and the outcomes that are expected from the system* Write recommendations and findings report to include a make/by/hybrid strategy for obtaining requirements identified as a result of this engagement* Conduct interviews with SMEs to identify potential user stories and needs of the system* Provide targeted user research and possible user stories or prototype development for inclusion in future procurement actions based on the result of the discovery sprint and OED needs* Provide objectives to include functional and nonfunctional requirements* General weekly updatesNon-Essential Functions:* Performs other duties as neededWork Conditions:* Work is primarily performed in an office environmentThis document is not intended to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all job-related activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
