Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Washington, DC and Chicago JD Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, and associated infrastructures. Monitors system performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors. Implements and Configures SharePoint Online environment. Exposure to O35 products such as Exchange Online, One-drive, SharePoint,etc., Implements Azure AD, RMS and Azure security related products. Daily support of public cloud and remaining on-premises platforms running on Azure and VMware. Implements Microsoft Infrastructure including Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure SSO and MFA. Install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services Perform operational engineering for activities which include platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting. Provide periodic off-hours on-call support for production and development environments. Work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office software Intermediate level knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 Intermediate level knowledge of the Microsoft Azure environment Implements PaaS and SaaS based Azure solutions. Migrates servers and workloads from On-Prem to Cloud environment. Skill set Atleast 5+ years on experience in On-Prem and Virtual server environment. Microsoft Azure & O365: 1 year (Required) Knowledge of core IT infrastructure and systems including LAN/WAN networking including routers, switches and firewalls, and SAN storage. Knowledge of VMWARE virtualization in server environment, Active Directory & GPO s, and O365 and enterprise anti-virus. MS Azure IaaS/PaaS administration experience.
