Job DescriptionAcara solutions is looking for Systems Engineer Advisor for our Client located in Langley AFB, VA-Responsible for analyzing requirements in order to complete reliable and accurate cost estimates for the US BICES Program-Work with a variety of functional groups to include Logistics, Systems and Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Software Teams to develop solutions and collect data-Routine maintenance of an Approved Purchase List to ensure equipment is up-to-date and understand of when equipment is end of life-Work with vendors to learn about emerging technology-Collaborate with the Software Engineering Team to update the team estimation tools on a monthly basis-Participate in special projects as assigned.Required Skills / Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering-Minimum of 8 years experience in systems engineering.-Minimum of 5 years experience with vendor relationship and cost estimation.Additional Information:-Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen-The work is typically performed in an office environment, which needs normal safety precautions; work may need some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.Aleron companies; Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, Viaduct, and Aleron's strategic partner, SDI are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
