Description SAIC is seeking a Software Architect/Lead in Aberdeen, MD. Job Duties: * Provide oversight of VIBES architecture and engineering decision making with respect to the addition of new features and structural changes * Track and manage all VIBES product releases, incremental updates, and deliveries to the customer * Act as the primary interface between the engineering team and the operations, training, IA, and test teams * Layout and manage the annual Release and Spront schedule * Host monthly Release Planning with the Army G2 and I2WD * Report weekly VIBES Engineering status * Attend daily scrums and manage daily tasking priorities of the engineering team * Review and remediate SCA-V findings in pursuit of ATO * Provide oversight and support of VIBES Sys Admin activities at I2WD * Continue oversight and support of the Collaborative Development Environment (CDE) in AWS GovCloud * Support recruiting of Engineering team members * Develop and maintain all VIBES engineering documentation * Work with software vendors to evaluate license requirements, update annual support agreements, and resolve problems * Provide oversite of backup plan and procedures for the PROD servers in the VIBES SAG * Work with OPS/Training team to define requirements for future software features supporting operations and training activities * Work with OPS team to debug operational problems with the NIPR and SIPR severs * Maintain understanding of current and new biometric standards and speaker identification algorithms Qualifications Required Education and Experience: * HS and (18) years of experience; OR Bachelors and fourteen (14) years of experience; OR Masters and twelve (12) years of experience; OR PhD or JD and nine (9) years of experience * Active Top Secret clearance with a current SSBI and be SCI-eligible or current TS/SCI * 15+ years of Software Engineering leadership experience * 2+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) process * Security+ CE; CISSP, or CASP. * Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills * DoD background (preferred) * Possible short-term CONUS travel to meet customers Desired Qualifications
