Join our team of experts as we engineer national security Altamira is currently looking for Software Engineers to join our Team to support new opportunities in Fort Belvoir, VA and Fort Gordon GA. The Software Engineer supports the design, development, deployment, test, and evaluation of applications for cyber systems. At the entry level, they assist senior developers with coordinating resolution of application issues, upgrades, and problems and support application configuration and optimization. More advanced developers will contribute to the development and maintenance of manuals, drawings, system specifications, electronic and hardcopy files of customer installations, calibration records, maintenance records, and quality control information. At the entry level, a qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree or 6 years' experience. More experience or education credentials will qualify for higher starting levels. As a Software Engineer, the employee must have experience: Full lifecycle software development: designing, developing, deploying, and testing Developing and maintaining manuals, drawings, and specifications Experience performing security assessments and formal accreditation efforts Background in DoD or Intel IA requirements and policies Programming using Java, C++, or Python Work experience in a JIRA Agile management Automated test / build Required Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II US Citizen, with active TS security clearance and SCI eligibility Altamira is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
