Join Planet and be a part of our mission to change the way people see the world. The Role: + Lead all internal IT related functions (what we call CorpEng) at Planet Labs Federal. This includes: + Administration of Single-Sign-On (SSO) and provisioning of users to various cloud systems. + Acting as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and ensuring compliance with all monitoring and auditing requirements. + Coordinate with IT Security and Systems Administration at Planet Federal?s parent company, Planet Inc, as appropriate. + Address security issues by conducting continual monitoring, vulnerability assessments and log analysis. + Assist the full Planet Federal team effort to create, improve or automate processes and/or tools. + Track new technology and identify areas of improvement in current systems, then work across Planet to develop a roadmap and budget for improvements. The Must Haves: + Bachelor?s degree in computer science, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience. + 6-8 years of combined IT and security work experience. + Experience in building or re-architecting end-to-end IT Systems solutions for small-to-medium size companies. + Ability to quickly understand security threats, vulnerabilities, and implement remediation techniques. + Team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles (IT and business personnel). + Strong verbal & written communication skills. + Eligibility for US Security Clearance. + Security+ Certification (or equivalent).
