Futrend is currently interviewing for a QA/QC Analyst for a new project in Rockville supporting our Federal government client. This is a new 5 year project involving design, development and implementation of a major IT system. T echnologies to be supported include: the latest in web-based technology, social media, smart phone technology, blogging, data capture, data warehouse, content management, automated workflow, electronic approval/signature, forms generation and automated reporting. Duties: Develops, publishes, and implements test plans, test cases. Executes test cases. Writes and maintains test automation Conduct all types of testing including but not limited to functional, system, regression, performance etc. Support UAT. Report defects Assist the development team in debugging and replicating issues Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts Location: Rockville, MD Job Requirements Minimum requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree 4 years of experience in testing software systems Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies Proficient in SQL
