We currently have an exciting 5-month, long term contract opportunity as a Regional Marketing Manager for a top fortune 500 company in Reston VA. Title: Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) Duration: 5+ months Location: Reston VA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the client's Public Sector & Healthcare selling teams. The RMM acts as the primary liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as the corporate and campaign marketing teams. This role is vital to executive sales leadership and is key to the success of elevating pipeline and sales. The RMM is also responsible for the development of marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics across all channels of the marketing mix. Management of vendor contracts and relationships and the supervision of marketing assistants/coordinators is also required. As an expert in their region, the RMM will leverage Global programs and assets from others and align to their region - ensuring all activities contribute to the business and marketing goals. Know the market segment and opportunity analysis for priority client products in geographic region and/or industry of responsibility Build detailed marketing mix using a repeatable, audience-centric method, using planning tools to support those efforts based upon local segmentation and relative targeting exercise Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates Understand target customers and the campaigns targeting customers, the responses and follow up taking place by both sales and other key stakeholders (eg channel) Stakeholder management and building internal brand marketing Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales and business development teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities . Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including event venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, copywriters and list brokers Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs Development and delivery of presentation materials in selected events - both internal to client and external Manage complex budgets from multiple sources including MDF Leverage and navigate internal platforms and tools May utilize Marketing automation (Eloqua/Adobe), Salesforce automation (salesforce.com), Business intelligence (Qlikview), Content management (Kapost), Office Productivity (MS-Office), Anaplan (budget), Ariba (procurement), WebEx / Skype for business Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget required; ability to manage complex budgets; MDF management experience is an advantage Ability to align tactical plans with strategies; desire, strength and agility in executing tactical plans Inbound marketing strategy/execution experience Knowledge of the variety of IT buyer personas desired Full cycle event strategy, development, execution and reporting results Target segmentation analysis, budgeting and building business cases for new customer acquisition B2G / B2B sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration How to clearly articulate a market-specific value proposition and tailor it to fit a variety of program requirements Demand creation performance measurement; tracking and proving ROI Qualifications: Planning and project management Leadership qualities and initiative to drive business objectives Agency management Ability to understand decision-impact on other areas of the business Strong oral/written communications skills; ability to present at leadership/executive level Strong business sense and acumen; ability to present at leadership/executive level Strong consultative marketing approach to effectively engage with sales and channel partner community Event development, execution and performance Understands how to use social media in an overall demand creation approach Ability to direct content building required for complex demand creation Can learn quickly and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment Education / Experience: Bachelor Degree in marketing or business, or comparable education/experience Five or more years in B2B marketing Prior experience in Public Sector (Federal, State & Local Governments) marketing is an advantage Prior experience in cybersecurity industry is an advantage Three or more years of field marketing / channel marketing experience Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is highly desirable Important information: This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
