Experience: 5+ years experience Travel Required: No Work Location: Arlington, VA, United States Senior Salesforce Manager and Solutions Architect drives the construction, adoption, and use of the Salesforce platform throughout our growing nationwide network of 1,700 providers and 600 corporate employees. This position directly manages our Salesforce developers and administrators to serve our sales, operations, and support teams. We're looking for someone who is passionate and highly-motivated, is heavily invested in the SFDC platform, and has a desire to learn and grow within our company. The right candidate is:A Salesforce evangelistExperienced in working with a complex legacy Salesforce OrgExcited to blow up inefficient processes and scale tools that take work off others' shouldersEnergized by a dynamic, fast-paced environment The Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for providing leadership and expertise in maintaining and updating Salesforce-based systems, as well as directing support for Salesforce and related 3rd party applications. The Salesforce Team Lead partners with a Product Owner from our Product Engineering team and works with business unit leaders in the organization to turn key business needs into scalable technology solutions. We follow agile development processes, run on two-week sprint cycles, and maintaining tight configuration control over our production instance. We love to innovate and move fast, but are always respectful of the service we provide our patients and providers - reliability, accuracy, privacy, and security are of utmost importance. For reference, our current Salesforce environment includes over 500 internal users, 5,000 external users, and leverages Sales, Service, and Community Clouds. We rely heavily on AppExchange solutions, including Pardot, DemandTools, Cvent, DocuSign for Salesforce, Geopointe, Internet Creations, Concord, TargetRecruit, TaskRay, Cornerstone, and GetFeedback.Primary Job Duties:Inspire your Salesforce team and evangelize Salesforce adoption across PriviaOversee, mentor, and manage the Salesforce team and contractor relationships, including performance management and reviews, quarterly key objective setting, coaching, career development, and other key team functionsMentor junior engineersManage and contribute to design, development, configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment of high-quality solutions based on industry best practices as well as business needsCommunicate concepts, architectures, solution approach options and evaluationsManage Salesforce strategies, tactics, and operations for the enterpriseProvide overall systems architecture expertise, direction of utilization of Salesforce features, recommendations for declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange solutionsKeep up to date on new and innovative thinking in the Salesforce space to share with and educate the teamFollow agile processes, including sprint planning and backlog grooming for Salesforce Administrators and Developers, and run operational sprint reviews with stakeholdersDocument business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc., as well as make recommendations for future state improved processes and system designsEnsure the team adheres to and responds to SLAsMaintain data quality through team workflow improvements and system validation Minimum Qualifications:CurrentSalesforce certifications must include: AdministratorAdvanced AdministratorSales Cloud Consultant (preferred)Service Cloud Consultant (preferred)Ability to provide technical guidance for both Apex and ConIdeally Consultant or Architect certified5+ years experience with at least one of the following: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community CloudExtensive experience with Workflow, Visual Flow, Process Builder, and Validation RulesExperience with implementing and supporting Salesforce applications from AppExchangeDeep familiarity with Salesforce training/education tools (Trailhead, Dreamforce, Trailblazer Community, Help and Training portal, etc.)Expert-level experience with Salesforce/3rd Party ETL tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Dataloader.io, etc.)Experience managing/working with a development team, test-driven development, and agile methodologiesStrong experience in Salesforce development technologies (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Managed Packages, etc.)Bachelor's degree, technical discipline preferredExperience using Version ControlExperience with deployment tools such as GearsetMust comply with HIPAA rules, regulations, and best practices Desired Qualifications:These certifications are desirable, but not required: Community Cloud ConsultantSharing and Visibility DesignerPardot Consultant/Pardot SpecialistExperience leading several, small to medium-sized Salesforce implementationsExperience working as a Salesforce ConsultantExperience with marketing automation tools, such as Pardot, Marketo, etc. Interpersonal Skills & Attributes:Ability to clearly and effectively explain complex technology to business usersAbility to inspire and motivate others to performanceSkilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationshipsExcellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to interact with employees and vendors in a professional mannerAbility to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelinessAbility to lead without explicit authority, open to feedback from others
