job summary:Description: 2 positions Top 3 Skills: a. Display both Project Management and Business Analysis skills and ensure adherence to firm best practices and standards. b. Providing daily project guidance and oversight to assigned resources. c. Interface with stakeholders and senior management to report progress, achievements, significant issues and risks. This role is for a Project Manager within the CTB Projects function in the Baltimore team. This role is responsible for managing and delivering multiple projects. Specific project management responsibilities include: - Manage a team of matrixed US and non-US resources - Providing daily project guidance and oversight to assigned resources - Managing project sponsor and stakeholder expectations - Manage scope - Prepare and maintain project schedule - Maintain Issue, Risk, and Decision logs - Facilitate working group and sponsor/stakeholder meetings - Produce project status reports and other project management related documentation/artifacts - Track and produce metrics to show project progress - Facilitate established processes that support business initiated system enhancement requests, prioritization of requests, and implementation of system enhancements - Develop and maintain effective partnerships with business and IT partners associated with assigned projects - Escalate issues to Portfolio Manager The role requires engagement with various groups within the Firm in Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and IT to ensure delivery of projects in line with various Operations Risk and Control initiatives currently underway. Projects will be weighted towards the Regulatory reporting and Customer Asset Segregation processes within the US and therefore US financial services and/or regulatory knowledge is preferable. This is a challenging and rewarding role offering accountability for delivery of a varied portfolio of change within the Firm. The candidate will need to be able to understand and articulate the differences between various financial products and related operational processes and technologies within the Firm and define, identify and deliver strategic solutions for problem resolution. The candidate will also need to be able to work with all levels of the organization.
