The Senior Digital Marketing Manager (SDMM) will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications. This position focuses on discovering and implementing reliable reporting across all online channels, including: delivery platforms, social media platforms, targeted email marketing campaigns, proprietary websites, and our catering CRM, to name a few. The SDMM will collaborate with the Marketing, Accounting, and Operations teams as the intersection of digital, data, and these departments continue to evolve. The SDMM will develop, oversee, and implement strategy and initiatives. The role requires both strategic vision and tactical, granular abilities. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual who can dive in and get projects over the finish line within given timelines, while maintaining excellent attention to detail. This dynamic position requires a passion for digital marketing and analytics, as well as an ability to resolve digital platform challenges and seek new initiatives and opportunities to reach the company's overarching goals. Farmers Restaurant Group is a collection of seven restaurants in the DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania region, majority owned by American family farmers whose values are at the heart of all we do. We operate Through the Eyes of the Farmer(R) to provide excellent hospitality, while maintaining a genuine concern for our land and our community. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy high-quality food that is delicious and grown with care. Our company runs 365 days per year, with a typical schedule based around a 55-hour work week, Monday-Friday, with occasional night and weekend work, as needed. Areas of Responsibility:Generate opportunities for innovative digital marketing tactics to promote our brands, restaurants, and productsImplement promotional and informational content updates to proprietary and third-party websitesConduct in-depth research to identify new opportunities throughout all sales channelsAnalyze insights from data, research, current market conditions, and competitor informationImplement scalable, repeatable, and comparable methods of measurement that align with company goals, ROI, and key performance trackingStrategically utilize collected data, market trends, and company mission to develop initiativesRecommend and justify paid advertising plans and budgets Qualifications & Experience Required:Has a minimum of 5 years professional digital marketing experienceDisplays in-depth knowledge and understanding of digital platforms, their respective users, and how platforms can be deployed and best utilized within varying scenariosHas experience within the tenets of traditional, targeted marketingPossesses in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running paid search, paid social, and other media campaign initiativesExhibits interest in and the ability to understand, use, and measure marketing analytics and performance indicatorsMaintains excellent writing and language skillsPractices superior time managementIs a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessaryCan assimilate quickly to new tools and technology, such as OpenTable and other third-party delivery platformsMaintains understanding of digital marketing trends, continually seeking to learn and navigate this ever-changing landscapePossesses knowledge of and experience with WordPress and other CMS toolsUnderstands the digital ecosystem and recognizes how awareness tactics can be fed through the funnel for search, etc.Has a bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fieldHas a graduate degree in Marketing or Analytics (preferred, but not required)Able to assist with other marketing efforts and needs, such as annual operational planning that affects marketing and promotional events
