Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist - Annapolis, MD 21409 **Temp to Hire** Accounts Payable duties to include but will not be limited to vendor data entry posting of business transactions processing of vendor invoices and reconciling invoices to purchase orders prepare weekly vendor payments verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, provide clerical support to the organization to pay obligations of the company. obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments, maintain copies of invoices and check vouchers and/or correspondence for vendor record-keeping. Accounts Receivable duties include but will not be limited to preparing customer billing reconciling expenses to each job for accurate job-cost billing prepare weekly receivables statements in addition to calculating, receiving and posting client payments to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances. follow up with customers regarding collections and solicit payments on overdue accounts.
