Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to manage configuration, customization, implementation of applications and third-party integrations for the Salesforce.com platform. Help us deliver what's next in outdoor living by managing all aspects of Salesforce.com and collaborating with internal stakeholders, team members and external consultants to build solutions in Salesforce that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement. As our next Lead Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with business users to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of areas of the business. You have proven experience with Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, plus more than three years of industry experience as a Salesforce.com developer. You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable effectively solving customer problems by acting quickly in response to inquiries and requests. You have excellent interpersonal skills, and both verbal and written communication skills. You can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences in a geographically dispersed environment, including conference calls, Skype and face-to-face interactions. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements. Work with senior members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Force.com platform. Design, develop, test, document and deploy high-quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices, as well as business needs. Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application. Perform ongoing Salesforce administration, and support Salesforce.com configuration tasks and development. Handle numerous projects and priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions. Interface with business analysts and technical staff, and be responsible for delivering complete work products. Research and keep current on Salesforce.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications. Perform custom Salesforce.com development using various development tools such as, but not exclusive to, Visualforce and Apex. Carry out development tasks to the highest quality standards, including: coding and documentation, unit and system testing, and new releases. Work in the Salesforce.com development environment which includes custom objects, workflows, triggers, the Force.com IDE (integrated development environment), migration tools, SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and web services. Integrate Salesforce.com with other systems. Must be driven to excellence and high standards. Must be able to thrive in a team environment. Supervise junior level Salesforce team members. Other duties as assigned. Required SkillsTechnical Knowledge: Does well in functional or technical courses; learns new industry, company, product, functional, or technical knowledge; and maintains a network of internal and external contacts. Must have historical and proven knowledge and practical application experience with Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs and web services. Must have a full understanding of database management and change management. Knowledge of Salesforce.com Force.com development best practices and design patterns. Experience with Salesforce.com Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API and the Metadata API. Experience integrating Salesforce.com with third-party systems using web services and app exchange apps. Experience building applications using C# is preferred. Familiarity with web and database application development technologies like SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5 and CSS is preferred. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or like program, which is comprised of certificates and experience. Salesforce.com Administrator or Salesforce.com Developer certification(s) preferred. More than three years of Force.com experience in Visualforce/Apex development is required. More than three years developing interactive web-based applications with Salesforce.com integration. More than three years of experience working with end users in defining requirements, designing programmed solutions and functional software applications. Job Location Winchester, US-VA
