Ideal candidate will have obtained the VLS Certification Level of Test Director (TD), System Maintenance Technician (SMT) or US Navy VLS Advanced Technician in accordance with NAVSEA Standing Instruction 86-2B or served in the US Navy having a NEC0981 with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the installation and checkout of weapon systems on board surface combatants during ship new construction or overhaul. A minimum of four years experience in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the MK 41 Vertical Launching System or equivalent systems required. Willingness to travel to support ship new construction and or overhaul.
