Description Developers will work with contractor personnel to code applications and upgrade utilities within systems, to map data from old systems to new systems, perform extraction-transformation-load (ETL) tasks, and leverage web services to migrate data. Developers should be skilled in writing basic and more complex SQL queries, develop interfaces between systems, and be capable of developing standardized reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Design, code, program, test, modify, install, implement, document, maintain and support new and existing applications software. Develop detailed plans and requirements for software enhancements, upgrades and functional changes, and new reports. Work with agency personnel to ensure plans are consistent with office and agency strategic plans, resource allocation, and business rules. Assess system performance, identify problems, and conduct preliminary analyses to help determine appropriate resolution. Collaborate with shared service providers to coordinate development efforts when systems impacted.
