Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Operate console, patching and computer related switching equipment
  • Monitor program audio levels
  • Identify and Correct technical equipment issues. As well as notify Technical Support Branch notify the appropriate personnel
  • Coordinate program recording and remote source activity
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The demonstrated technical ability in a radio or television broadcasting environment, and the ability to operate equipment in a radio master control setting, responsible for the switching, distribution and routing of audio programs.

1. If you are an eligible Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) applicant you may apply for special selection over other candidates for this position. To be well qualified and exercise selection priority for this vacancy, displaced Federal employees must be rated at 85 or above on the rating criteria for this position.
