Responsibilities

  • Issues tools, equipment and games to authorized customers.
  • Checks identification, collects fees when appropriate, and completes appropriate documentation.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repairs and maintenance.
  • Receives returned items, inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts. Checks inventory supplies.

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Duties involve considerable physical effort including the ability to lift, carry and move recreation equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside in often poorly lighted or insulated areas, and outside exposed to extreme weather conditions. Inside work often exposes recreation aid to unpleasant odors, noises, dirt and dust.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS: Climbs to loft and occasionally uses ladder to accomplish repairs.
  • WORK SCHEDULE: Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15j. - Tier 1 background investigation.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. There are no minimum qualifications for this position.

HIGHLY PREFERRED CRITERIA:
1. Possess knowledge of equipment rental processes, rental or storage operations, cash handling and exceptional customer service.
2. The ability to follow complex instructions and the ability to maintain records.
