Responsibilities

  • Initiate and develop national directives, regulations and instructions for Helping Expedite and Advance Responsible Tribal Home Ownership (HEARTH) Act.
  • Make decisions and recommendations for HEARTH.
  • Liaison coordination with the Department, OMB, Congress and other government agencies and industry representatives for HEARTH.
  • Provide training and conduct outreach to Tribal governments on the national HEARTH program.
  • Responsible for HEARTH Act procedures, requirements, regulations and policies.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions and/or BIA Excepted Standards, GS-1170).

GS-12: I have at least 1 year of specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-11 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience is work that involved being responsible for the coordination and management of real property and real estate functions as it relates to Helping Expedite and Advance Responsible Tribal Home Ownership (HEARTH) Act; provide liaison and coordination of the HEARTH Act; outreach to tribal governments on the benefits of the HEARTH Act for tribal leasing regulations. (Your resume must support this experience).

GS-13: I have at least 1 year of specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-12 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience is work that involved being responsible for the coordination and management of real property and real estate functions as it RELATES to Helping Expedite and Advance Responsible Tribal Home Ownership (HEARTH) Act; develop national policy and changes needed to provide guidance to tribes on national directives, regulations and instructions; examine and review tribal leasing regulations; monitor the national HEARTH program and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of final leasing regulations; provide training and conduct outreach to Tribal governments (Your resume must support this experience).
