Military Readiness Analyst, Lead
Key Role:

Develop and implement strategic, operational, and tactical readiness analysis concepts and approaches that will be used to integrate, assess, measure and quantify military readiness data in new and innovative decision-making scenarios. Use or apply advanced simulation and modeling techniques, data science analytical methods, mathematical and statistical methods, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines in developing solutions. Lead projects, studies, and display imagination and innovation in approach to duties. Research military readiness related public law, department, and military service level policy and procedural guidance. Assist senior government officials at the senior executive service (SES), general, and flag officer level with military readiness implementation, execution, and process improvement initiatives. Write and present whitepapers and issues papers to senior government officials at the SES, general, and flag officer levels.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with leading military readiness, operations research, and quantitative and qualitative analytical studies and projects supporting military operations and training

-10+ years of experience with DoD headquarters, operational, and training positions

-Experience in working with senior government officials at the senior executive service (SES), general, and flag officer levels

-Knowledge of the development, fielding, and implementation of military readiness reporting capabilities, systems at the department, military service, and major command level

-Ability to develop and implement strategic, operational, and tactical readiness analysis concepts and approaches

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with a defense readiness reporting system or other service-wide readiness reporting systems

-PhD degree in Operations Research, Engineering, or Mathematics

Clearance:
