SGIM - a 3,500 member academic medical association dedicated to improving patient care, education, and research in primary care and general internal medicine, seeks talented marketing manager to design, implement and execute annual marketing strategies for revenue-generating programs, products and publications as well as non-revenue generating activities. The position will be responsible for managing messaging and collateral for both SGIM and its sister organization ACLGIM. Primary responsibilities: In collaboration with the Director of Communications, create a comprehensive marketing plan with an emphasis on consistent branding for all SGIM and ACLGIM programs and services Write and design promotional materials; edit materials and customize to market segment and deliver to target audiences (SGIM members, external partners, and potential members within the field of general internal medicine) in collaboration with Communications team and appropriate staff. Analyze results for effectiveness and make recommended changes to attain goals. Work collaboratively across the organization to ensure a comprehensive understanding of key SGIM and ACLGIM activities and integrated key messages throughout all marketing and communications vehicles. Coordinate with various SGIM/ACLGIM departments to develop, produce, and manage the promotional, marketing, and collateral materials to support each program and/or service. Incorporate print, direct mail, electronic media, and social media to distribute collateral material as deemed appropriate in order to ensure the best ROI for each program and/or service.
