This position will support the USCG Program Management Office that is developing and deploying a Logistics Information Management System for ships and aircraft. Location USCG Headquarters Acquisition Directorate, 1790 Ash St SE, Washington DC Preferred USCG or Navy experience Clearance Secret Travel Occasional Desired Experience Desired (5) years of experience as an on-site IT senior systems engineer to support in the full lifecycle of systems engineering and integration activities associated with the Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM) Acquisition Life Cycle Framework (ALF) and DHS Directive 102-01 (Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC)). Activities include planning, defining, designing, developing, implementing, operating, and disposing of system. Software development for a Logistics Information Management System Oracle data base development or configuration Specific position responsibilities Perform SELC Stage Activities, Stage Reviews, development of supporting reports, artifacts, plans, and entrance exit criteria Measuring and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of system engineering processes Integrating technical planning to provide program management with specific guidance and direction on how to execute a requirement-based and structurally managed program Development of functional, technical and performance requirements in software development environment Provide assistance with requirements decomposition and Management of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) Provide support and facilitate requirements IPT meetings and other large groups Development and documentation of Functional, Technical, System, Operational, and Performance requirements for the program Conduct analysis and submit reports for data migration planning and processes Assist and provide recommendations to ensure the system meets Information Assurance requirements Identify, analyze, and provide recommendations for Test Observation Reports and other reported system defects Perform technical reviews of CG-LIMS proposed engineering change packages AST is an EOE - MFDV AST Offers a first class benefits package, competitive salary and bonus incentives.
