Wireless Network Engineer
Candidate must be clearable for a federal government public trust clearance - no third party candidates. Job Description Responsible for engineering (designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing) various WLANLAN task orders involving Aruba and Cisco network solutions. Capture and analyze technical requirements document detailed system designs, implementation plans, and operations guides of network systems participate in both project and operational meetings providing Tier 3 level support utilizing change control processes. Requirements Responsible for the research and development of existing and new wireless technologies used to optimize and maintain the network. Design, Test, Install, Configure, Implement and Troubleshoot Wireless and LAN equipment Working with 3rd party and internal departments in integrating wireless equipment with current WAN and security infrastructure. Responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and modification of wireless network hardware and software. Which include Cisco Switches (3750, 3850 and 9300 experience preferred) Wireless Controllers (Aruba experience preferred) Guest registration web portal Recommending configuration changes and software upgrades Provides tier 3 support in the area of wireless devices, including hand-held devices, LAN and WAN connectivity. Responsible for documentation of installed networks, to include systems design, operations and implementations guides, Visio design drawings, etc. Maintains the security and integrity of all wireless hardware and software. Knowledge of Windows Server 201x OS platforms to include DNS DHCP functions.
