Details: An Enterprise Architect in Washington, DC, is currently available with Belcan.? This is a full-time, direct opportunity, with benefits.? You must possess at least a Bachelor?s Degree & several years of direct experience, to be considered.? ? Active Security Clearance needed:? You must possess at least an Active Secret Level Clearance, to be considered.? US Citizenship is required.? ? Duties You will Develop, review, &/or author Enterprise Architecture (EA) artifacts following relevant Enterprise Architecture standards and methodologies such as eg Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) or The Open Group Architecture Forum (TOGAF). You will create EA roadmaps, EA strategies, technical architectures, implementation designs & EA Frameworks. You will define modern IT Infrastructure aligned with the Department?s IT Strategic Plans & Business Architecture which supports the execution of the Department?s mission.? You will be asked to Create-and-Manage EA assessments & analysis of the Department?s investments & technology landscape leveraging the Cybersecurity Services Reference Architecture. You will Develop TBM service alignment assessments related to technology investments. You will be asked to manage & support CPIC investment portfolio alignment with TBM implementation.?? You will routinely update & publish EA analysis supporting EA/KM requests leveraging data categorized via the EA Data Architecture taxonomy. You will use analytics processes to develop & publish BI dashboards reflecting dynamic investment/technology portfolio views of each segment of the EA categorized by the TBM services taxonomy. You will Identify & inventory software/hardware products on the network. You will routinely Review & Update, ?As - Is Technical Architecture,? including systems, applications, networks, software products, hardware products ie servers etc. You will lead the evaluation of technical requirements to define business needs, reviews & correct project?s direction; directing solutions to gaps/risks, evaluates options, identifies and pro-actively manages areas to resolution. You will perform complex analyses of data and information and make recommendations. You will develop EA guidance, policy, procedures & tools for creation of the Target EA supported by enterprise-wide technologies such as Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity. You will review & develop processes for the evaluation & approval of technology requests related to business needs that leverage new or existing technology services & capabilities.? You will establish TBM data normalization activities supporting the creation of Power BI dashboards. You will develop & maintain TBM service architecture guiding principles, policies, best practices, reference architecture & standards. You will establish standards for aligning, modeling, naming & describing service offerings aligned with TBM. ? Qualifications ? Required You must possess an Active DOD/DSS SECRET-Level security clearance or higher. You must possess a Bachelor?s Degree or Masters in Computer Science or Information Systems. You must possess 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT/technology including successfully implementing one or more enterprise technology solutions; defining and delivering enterprise applications in a technical and technical leadership role; and analyzing, designing, and optimizing Infrastructure, Applications, and Enterprise Integration solutions. You will have an Up-to-date awareness of technological advances to help management plan for the future requirements in its efforts to align IT infrastructure to support business goals. You will be able to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks. You will be able to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines. ?Preferred Familiarity with State Department and the Managing State Projects for Information Technology (MSP-IT) project cycle. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with business process improvement or business process re-engineering. Previous experience working with Federal Government clients is highly desirable. ?
