Wittenberg Weiner Consulting, LLC is searching for an experienced, mid to upper-level MS SQL developer/programmer to lead a modernization effort for an Army program needing to migrate current excel data and processes into a relational database model. SQL resource will develop, document, and support customized reporting requirements according to operations and team needs.Tasks Translation of current transactional data and processes into a SQL database. Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes. Designing tables and database models with input from subject matter experts. Creating stored procedures for business rules application and report generation. Optimizing of indexing and queries for optimal performance. Addition of new tables when new process modules are added. Please send your request to WWC HR.RequirementsBasic Qualifications BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.) Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus. Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications. Strong SQL object programming and modeling experience. Experience with database administration. Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases. Experience with table design including normalization. Able to work within a multi-functional team that includes SMEs and functional analysts. Able to interpret requirements and recommend best solution. Able to think creatively and provide viable solutions. Able to collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. Experience with database backups and recovery. Minimum of 5 years of SQL Server development with heavy stored procedures and T-SQL background. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
