Advisory Committee Support Lead
Key Role:

Lead a team of ~5 people providing strategic communications and advisory committee support to a government client. Work closely with senior government officials and senior private sector executives on various communications products under tight deadlines, including talking points and key messages, PowerPoint presentations, and other communications products, as needed. Conduct event planning for and support the implementation of twice a year in-person advisory committee meetings and twice a year member conference calls. Advise senior clients and conduct activities to ensure the committee adheres to the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), including preparing a Federal Register Notice, finding meeting space that is open and accessible to the public, and posting meeting materials for the public prior to the advisory committee's meetings. Work closely with the advisory committee's subcommittees to develop policy recommendations for the client. Conduct member analyses and develop nomination recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in the strategic communications field, including leadership messaging, content development, Web strategy, and implementation planning ·

-Experience with leading a team, delegating tasks, and performing quality reviews

-Experience with developing briefs and deliverables, including writing and editing materials for senior level executives

-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Ability to work with senior government officials and private sector executives

-Ability to gather information and synthesize it into presentable deliverables

-Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, prioritize as necessary, and deliver high-quality products to a variety of stakeholders, under tight deadlines

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree and 18+ years of experience in the strategic communications field or MA or MS degree and 10+ years of experience in the strategic communications field

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

-Knowledge of the Federal Advisory Committee Act ( FACA)

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity and critical infrastructure security subject matter topics

-TS/SCI clearance
