UX Designer and Strategist, Mid
Key Role:

Work closely with other designers, developers, strategists, product owners, and users. Display excellent communication to present design decisions to peers and clients. Balance the requirements and business goals of a product while remaining attentive to the needs of users. Leverage strategic design principles and aim to create a cohesive user experience in everything designed. Transform complicated data analysis dashboard front ends, intuitive and compelling expertise that modern user expectations demand, while preserving their sophisticated capabilities. Work in a fast-paced, agile environment to keep pace with rapidly evolving technologies and standards. Display a drive to be a user advocate and an enthusiasm for creating products that are intuitive, satisfying, and easy to learn.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with creating designs for Web applications

-Experience with working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives

-Experience with creating high fidelity wireframes that demonstrate a current comprehension of Web standards and 508 Compliance

-Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development

-Experience with HTML5, CSS, and front-end framework methodologies

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the following tools: Adobe CC, Axure, Sketch, or InVision, front-end frameworks, including Foundation or Bootstrap, version control, including GitHub, and content management systems, including WordPress or Drupal

-Experience with leading design and coding for responsive Web sites

-Experience with usability evaluations and testing

-Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in team-based government or professional services environments

-Experience with developing digital data visualization

-Experience with SASS, JavaScript, or jQuery

-Knowledge of JavaScript plugins

-Ability to exhibit visual design expertise and pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to work independently and define project objectives and milestones

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation and technical problem-solving skills
