The Project Management Manager role will be part of the Loan Quality Control (QC) Department within Credit Risk Management Division. The position is responsible for the planning and execution of various projects across the Loan QC Future State Program. The hired incumbent will manage various efforts of different degrees of complexity with key responsibilities in managing scope, schedule, quality, risk and issues and impact on systems and processes within the QC Future State Program.

Your Work Falls into These Primary Categories:

Project Management & Change Management

  • Lead efforts to support multiple projects within Loan QC Future State Strategy, Vision and Roadmap by engaging QC management team and staff to define and achieve both short term and long-term goals.
  • Manage key project activities such as business case development, justification, project scope, design and schedules, stakeholder management, business requirements, issues and risks, business process and rollout / communications.
  • Work collaboratively with QC process owners, internal and external stakeholders representing across various groups within QC Department including SF operations and technology divisions.
  • Follow-up on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational and project objectives.
  • Drive tasks at workstream level such as business analysis, gather supporting data, analyze materiality and conduct test n learn pilots.
  • Ability to drive and deliver projects using traditional waterfall, iterative and agile models.
  • Analyze, design and assist in developing change management plans to support implementation of the business case.
  • Design, develop, manage and deliver communications to project constituents.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders impacted by the project.
  • Execute on metrics-based changes and be a change agent to drive positive changes within QC department.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Translate learning and feedback into improvement opportunities for both the technology solutions and business processes.


  • 8+ years of related business experience of which at least 4+ years of project management experience supporting large projects/programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Proven experience in delivering large, complex change management projects that involve interfacing with cross functional teams, especially projects involving changes to business applications and supporting technology.
  • Detailed understanding of loan origination and servicing processes/environments (people, process and technology)
  • Solid project management skills to effectively managing projects using standard project management tools, including business case development, project plans, budget management, issues, risks management and status reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written skills with significant experience in communicating at various levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrable critical thinking, business /data analysis, problem solving skills.

  • Primary and secondary mortgage market experience.
  • Technical knowledge related to mortgage technology, applications, infrastructure and business data.
  • Knowledge or certification in Organizational change Management (ex: ADAKR)
  • Project Management Certifications (ex: PMP, CSM)
