The position is responsible for the day to day operations of monitoring servicer performance and compliance with the Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer Guide.

The Loan Servicer Manager will manage a team that is responsible for performing custodial account reviews that have been completed by servicers to ensure Freddie Mac funds are being appropriately accounted for monthly. The Loan Servicer Manager will also approve and execute Transfer of Servicing requests (Concurrent transfers as well as Subsequent transfers) The role will manage scope, schedule, quality, risk and issues, of these processes and any potential impact to downstream business partners. This position works in a consultative role with our customers as well as the other managers in Servicing Operations to identity and risks related to data and or Freddie Mac's funds.

Your Work Falls into These Primary Categories:

Internal Operations & Customer Facing Duties
  • Produce periodic reporting on production volumes and team performance
  • Coordinate work with other internal departments such as Finance, Servicing Capital, CORE, Counterparty Credit Risk, Sales and Legal
  • Maintain program status information on participating and potential customers in Salesforce
  • Lead special projects for Servicing Ops as identified and work with designated internal project manager
  • Assist Account Executives on escalated items
  • Work with servicers on new requests or explaining the processes
  • Provide subject matter expertise to servicers as well as internal customers


  • 8 plus years' experience in the primary and/or secondary mortgage markets - this experience should include a basic understanding of the servicing function as well as accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
