Outside Sales Executive (MD, VA, PA) Commission: 80% of Agency New Business Commission, 50% of Agency Renewal Commission for the life of the policy(Exception: Life policies will be paid 70% of Agency New Business commission) Office Space: You may work 100% remotely (with your home-office anywhere in MD, VA or PA), use office space at the agency (Walkersville MD-21791), or a combination of both. Perks: *As you are working on a 1099 basis, you are your own boss. Your time is your own, work the hours you want when you want. The agency will not require any set schedule. *If working remotely and needed, you will be provided with a laptop, docking station, and dual monitors. You will need to provide your own internet and phone service. *You will have agency sales support. Direct mail pieces will be sent based on zip codes near you. The direct mail pieces will contain your phone number, not the agencies, so you will benefit from the direct mail pieces. The agency call center will conduct follow-up calls for you in your zip codes. *You will have agency customer service support. The agency will rate and prepare your proposals (you will be required to submit a quoting worksheet), do your binders and EPI's (you will be required to submit a binding worksheet), and service the client throughout the year. The CSR will also renew the risk for you (you will be required to submit a renewal worksheet). *You will receive a percentage of the annual profit-sharing bonus should the agency qualify for the bonus.*The agency will pay for continuing education and license renewal.*There will be periodic sales contests with cash prizes. *If you are not licensed in Life and Health, the agency will write the Life and Health portion of the account for you and you will receive a referral reward. *If you are not licensed in Property and Casualty, the agency will write the Property and Casualty portion of the account for you and you will receive a referral reward. Expectations: *A current Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health license. *Prior to writing business, you will be required to complete a one-week training course either at the agency or on-line. *You will be an Independent Contractor receiving a 1099; you will pay your own taxes.
