Job Purpose: Provides support to a National New Homes Construction Energy Inspection Program (Please do not apply if you do not have construction experience) Duties: Expert ability to effectively communicate with other disciplines or groups and resolve schedule conflicts Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills Perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Prepare a written report of audit finding Effectively and professionally communicate with clients throughout the process Complete any necessary paperwork required for internal reporting Maintain equipment in accordance with company policy and manufacturer's specifications Comply with company safety policies and procedures Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions Ability to use a computer, including MS Word and Excel Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems Must be organized, energetic, motivated, and dependable Must be willing and able to work in extremely confined spaces with high temperatures typically found in attics and other uncomfortable spaces Ability to work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces Ability to work in extreme weather conditions Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crawl, and lift Ability to work on ladders (up to 30') and hand/power tools Ability to frequently lift and move 50 pounds unassisted Additional Requirements: Must have a minimum of 2 years construction experience Must be personable, well-groomed, articulate and able to convey technical information in plain language Must be organized, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Must be willing to obtain additional certifications/licenses as required RESNET HERS RATER Valid driver's license in good standing with insurable driving record Pre-employment background check/drug testing Candidate must live within 30 minutes of job location Skills/Qualifications: Microsoft Excel SharePoint Camera/Picture Documentation HVAC Residential Construction Knowledge Construction Programs Air Sealing Blower Door Testing Duct Testing Reporting Skills Attention to Detail Deadline-Oriented Time Management Data Entry Management General Math Skills PEG, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
