Responsibilities DSP Engineer to develop Demodulation Algorithms Responsible for applying technical knowledge and practical concepts, processes, and methods related to technical systems and components. Provides guidance, technical direction, analysis and support for the design, development, integration, testing, documentation, implementation, and sustainment of any of a variety of hardware, software, and integrated product solutions. Interfaces with vendor support service groups to maintain knowledge and resolve technical problems. Use sheet metal and machine tools such as shears, breaks, saws, milling machines, and lathes Use measuring tools, test instruments, and painting equipment Use electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) Read and interpret technical documents and drawings Provide an understanding of methods used to produce fabricated parts Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Perform set-up and machining operations, on various machine tools such as vertical mills, lathes, drill press, multiple spindle drills and riveting machines You should be a skilled technician with the ability to perform various machining operations required to fabricate, assemble, install, and test a variety of components, materials, apparatus, and equipment Qualifications An active SECRET clearance and have the ability to obtain a TSSCI A High School Diploma Be proficient with MS Office Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail Preferred Knowledge of manufacturing quality assurance processes Professional Certifications (eg AWS welding certificate, CSWAPE) CNC Programming CAD CAM Software experience Military service What You'll Get to Do Demodulate signals from various sources including Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) devices Responsible for developing demodulation algorithms for modern communication technologies Deinterleave collected signals as necessary Identify trends and patters in COTS Prepare technical reports You'll Bring These Qualifications Active Secret and obtain TSSCI w CI Poly Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree) specializing in DSP Experience with developing and implementing DSP algorithms Fluency with basics of signals and how to process them including modulation, demodulation, filtering, and spectral analysis Experience with MODERN communication and DSP technologies Intermediate MATLAB, C, C++, LINUX, PYTHON programming skills These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have Background in image and signal processing, both algorithm design and implementation (for example, image scaling, deinterlacing, deinterleaving, frame rate conversion, artifact detection). MAMS in Electrical Engineering, Digital Communications, Information Theory, Signal Processing or related field Works well in a small team environment .
