Our General Manager oversees the entire hotel operation and profitability, reporting directly to senior officers of the organization. Will develop relationships with owners and work closely with brand representatives to ensure hotel complies within brand standards; promotes excellent guest satisfaction; direct, recruit and develop hotel leadership team; and proactively create & implement strategies to enhance the profitability and revenue generation of the hotel. Detailed knowledge of all hotel operations, sales & marketing, and finance is essential for success in conjunction with extensive hotel leadership and managerial skills. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience as GM in full service, branded hotels. 2+ years hotel sales experience. Negotiation/ interpretation of contracts skills. Strong business communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Present a professional appearance and confident attitude. Ability to manage and lead each department independently within a diverse workforce Ability to manage according to employment and innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction. Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan. Willing to relocate.
