Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including, but not limited to hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, leading service initiatives, leading and managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, leading and developing the executive team, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns and hotel-wide meeting participation and facilitationIntense focus on margin flow through as compared to prior yearEnsure guest and team member satisfaction and improve Trip Advisor rankingMonitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads, to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardRecruit, interview and train team membersOversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurementsIdentify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficienciesServe as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entitiesWhat are we looking for?This is a great opportunity to run a beautiful hotel set in a historically rich city.Basic Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of general manager experience.- Experience managing a full service property with annual revenues of $25M or greater- Experience managing a full service property with 350+ room- Strong Communication skills- Confidence to meet high level dignitaries at a moment's notice- Strong sales and revenue management skills are critical- Solid track record in securing strong margin flow through performance- Experience with union partnershipsPreferred Qualifications:- Proven people leadership- Strong sales orientation- Hilton brand and system experienceSince being founded in 1919, Hilton Worldwide has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
