This position is to perform technical integration activities in support of the Xacta application suite in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting government clients in application administration, configuration, and troubleshooting a large enterprise deployment of Xacta and implementation with dependent systems and processes. The candidate will be required to apply domain knowledge and collaborate with team leads and clients to translate functional needs into technical security solutions appropriately. The candidate will interface with Senior level Risk Management practitioners including the Authorizing Official (AO), Information System Security Officers (ISSO), System Owners and Engineers. The candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to the customer for all Xacta application requirements in support of the security authorization mission. This includes, but will not be limited to Subject Matter Expertise of Xacta Configuration of Xacta Workflow Templates Regulation expertise (CNSS, NIST, FEDRAMP, etc.) Application installation and configuration Data Migration from legacy system (When Applicable) Develop and execute database stored procedures and queries as appropriate to meet customer requirements APIs to Enterprise Services (When Applicable) Role Based Access Control and Assignment of Users Transition Xacta from traditional on-prem environments into the cloud This position will be based on customer site in Reston, VA Qualifications Current TSSCI Clearance with CI Poly is REQUIRED Active CISSP Certification is REQUIRED Bachelor s Degree or 6 years of equivalent work experience is required 5 years of relevant information technology (IT) experience, computer science of information security in a professional environment Ability to independently learn and master the Xacta Software Suite Experience with Linux and moving systems into the AWS cloud Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following areas Configuration Management, SSL management, and IT systems administration Operating System Administration Skills, General Internet and TCPIP networking knowledge Experience with querying andor administrating Database Management Systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex technical issues Basic understanding of scanning tools what they are, information collected, how organizations use them Experience with scripting languages such as Javascript, PHP, Python, or Apache Velocity Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms DoD 8570 IA Workforce Certification Additionally, the candidate will be required to demonstrate an ability to Diagram and develop business process workflows using Microsoft Visio Work tasks autonomously and with staff located in geographically disparate areas Improve operational performance, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Complete assignments with independent thought and action within the scope of specific assignments Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills Ability to pay strict attention to detail with an emphasis on high quality of deliverables
