The successful candidate will work in cross-functional teams to drive excellence in process design, new-product-introduction, technology transfer, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis. The scientist will be involved with the execution of both method and process validations as well as continuous improvement efforts.What you will doProvide technical support for the manufacture and analytical testing of products.Support continuous improvement, new product development, and method transfers.Evaluation of new and support of existing instrumentation and lab automation throughout manufacturing.Participate in the design and execution of method and process validations.Analyze data and communicate results in a team environment.Participate in the drafting manufacturing documentation such as production SOPsTroubleshoot issues/conduct root cause analysis and to recommend and implement corrective actions for processesMaintains accurate records and documentation; responsible for the quality of project deliverables and documentationHow you will get thereEducation Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering-related field.ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of industry experience (work with FDA regulated products preferred)Strong bench skills and experimental designExperience with automated instrumentation and laboratory measurement devices: liquid-handling robots, plate readers, vial/tube handlers, etc strongly desired.Experience with laboratory methods such as qPCR, HPLC, HPIC and LC-MSExperience with analytical method and process validation in a regulated environmentStrong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem-solving skillsAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
