JOB SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the General Manager, directs Associate activity to provide efficient high quality customer service and achieve retail sales targets through a well-trained and motivated staff. Adheres to all Party City policies and proceduresESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Performs supervisory and administrative dutiesPerforms director on duty (DOD) responsibilities as requiredResponsible for opening and closing store proceduresAdheres to all standard operating procedures, policies and Best MethodsResponsible for cash handling procedures including but not limited to preparing and dropping bank depositsAuthorizes register functions including post voids, returns and associate discountsReviews and responsible for all corporate communications applicable to their assigned zoneAssists in merchandising proceduresResponsible for maintaining assigned zoneSets and maintains MPP, plan-o-grams and other merchandise directivesAssists with execution of company data integrity processDelivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customersInteracts with and assists customersProcesses balloon ordersHandles Personalization Studio ordersSupports new hire training and ongoing development of current associatesReviews and understands financial data to support driving profitable salesAssists in receiving and stocking procedures;Unloads merchandise from trucksChecks in shipmentsStages merchandise for the sales floorWorks out merchandisePerforms store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock roomThis job description is not all-inclusive.
