Job Number: R0040611 Configuration Management Lead Key Role: Establish a configuration management program, including researching current processes, tools, techniques, and methodologies and implement improvements to create a solid, structured, documented, and repeatable CM program. Protect the integrity of a project's delivered products, from code to technical documentation. Leverage modern configuration management, application management, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for software code, packages, libraries, containers, virtual machines, releases, and documents. Own the project's configuration management plan, facilitate configuration control boards, and establish the configuration management library. Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with leading configuration management teams -Experience in knowledge management applications and leading or assisting with the standup of a CM program, including analyzing processes and procedures for hardware, software, and documentation -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -Knowledge of the management principles, procedures, and processes needed to support a fully functioning hardware, software, software asset management and document, and artifact CM efforts -Ability to evaluate the current status and implement improvements to the overall CM program -Ability to be a motivated self-starter, including determining day-to-day direction and overseeing junior staff -Ability to foster excellent rapport with clients and team members -Active Secret clearance -HS diploma or GED Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
