This role spans the developer experience from local development to production. In this position, you'll be architecting, building and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous delivery platform allowing engineers to rapidly deploy code and ship software with a key focus on speed, safety and usability. This role also requires help setting up our AWS environment(VPC, EC2 instances, Security roles, etc.). We are looking for someone who has a firm understanding of industry trends and approaches to delivery pipelines. This role is expected to build and design software that meets the unique development pipeline. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be writing software, tests, checks and deployment mechanisms that assist in the software development life cycle. Additional responsibilities may include informing stakeholders of emerging technologies, assistance in architecting multiple solutions towards push stable code as quickly and safely as possible, participating in an on-call rotation and assisting other engineers in resolving production related issues.Responsibilities:Support and integrate with the development efforts of the engineering and product development teams which results in a stable environment with speed to market.Development of application monitoring dashboards for production applications.Provide application and environment support to developers, including troubleshooting issues with GIT or other developer applicationsProvide recommendations to engineering team related to ongoing operational support of environments at all phases of the engineering process.Utilize Docker, AWS EC2 and other technologies to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Agile DevOps solutionsConfigure, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot developer applications like Jenkins.Maintain disciplined change management procedures for all environments and supporting tools.Experience writing Serverless applications and CloudFormation templates is a plusRequirements:Bachelor's DegreeSoftware development experience in an Agile DevOps environmentExperience writing production-level software in a high level language such as: NodeJS .Net, etc Experience building software designed to improve the developer experienceExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing services and EC2 InstancesExperience with Jenkins and AWS CI/CD tools3+ years experience as a DevOps engineer or developerYou have built a continuous delivery pipeline that requires custom developmentAWS ExperienceAutomated software testing experience is a plusBenefits:Stock OptionsPaid VacationHealth InsuranceFlexible hours
