Be an Automated Tester on one of the most high profile and significant cybersecurity systems in the US Tellenger, Inc., seeks an experienced QA Expert to apply their rigorous testing procedures to the functionality of the Department of Homeland SecurityA cents € (TM) s Continuous Diagnostics Mitigation (CDM) project, which is being used by every Federal agency.A' This is an important project for our company and will be a resume builder for you.A' US Citizen Only A cents € " This is a mandatory requirement of our contract.Position Responsibilities:Working alongside Configuration Management Analysts and DevOps Engineers, the Automated Tester to automate build/test/deploy processes through the development, test, and staging environments.A' The Automated Tester will be responsible ensuring quality of software releases through the creation of test strategies/plans and development and execution of automated tests using tools such as SonarQube, Selenium, Cucumber/Java, Jmeter, Elastic's Java Testing Framework, and JAWS/Dragon Naturally Speaking.A' Testing work will include a mix of automated and manual testing covering security, unit, functional, performance, and 508 compliance testing. A' The position will focus on increasing automated test coverage of the platform, requirements coverage, and automated traceability and reporting.A' The successful candidate will bring experience automating and running tests in an agile environment.A' You'll be working with a talented team in Fairfax, VA developing a leading-edge enterprise system that will protect Federal IT systems across the USA' It's an exciting project that will help many people.A' You will work onsite at the project teamA cents € (TM) s location in Fairfax, VA, and must be able to pass a government background check.A' The successful candidates will have the following experience and required skills:Bachelor's (IT or relevant STEM degree) with 3+ yrs of relevant experience, or a Masters and 1+ yrs of relevant experienceExcellent written and oral communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, strong organization skills, problem solving ability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic that is proactive and self-motivatedMust consistently seek to improve quality and efficiencyAdvanced knowledge and experience in formulating test plans and strategies, including documentation of techniques and communication to internal and external senior stakeholdersAdvanced level knowledge of automated testing tools and techniquesAdvanced skill in authoring automated functional test scripts against a web-based UI and API using Selenium and Cucumber or similar testing toolsBasic knowledge of Agile processes and release cyclesBasic knowledge of requirements management in an Agile environmentItA cents € (TM) sa plus if you have:Experience with Elasticsearch and KibanaExperience using JIRA to track progressExperience using Confluence to manage documentationKnowledge of one or many areas related to cyber security including: governance and risk management, compliance, business continuity and disaster recovery, encryption, software development security, access control, network security / secure architecture, and security operationsKnowledge of AWS services and infrastructure managementSAFe CertificationExperience establishing or working with a CI/CD pipelineExperience with Section 508/WCAG compliance and implementationLocation Requirements: Willing to work full-time onsite in Fairfax, VABenefits: Great work environment, full health insurance, 15 days PTO, Federal holidays, tax-deferred retirement savings plan with company match program and opportunities for advancement.
