Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOFS Looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our team and the supporting of our large diverse customer base across multiple agencies. Some of the duties and responsibilities are listed below:Exercises independent judgment as well as high level and analytical skills in solving complex and unusual managerial, technical and administrative problems.Experienced in providing Project Plans and Work Break Structures as neededProven ability to lead a team of Managers in all aspects of Operational Support areas and also firm understanding of financial management for government contractsExperienced monitoring contractor workforce to ensure maximum effectiveness in use of resources on contractsCoordinates and leads all contract level programs and projects.Provides management and technical direction of program and provides internal planning, guidance and management structure for tracking accomplishment of work assigned.Capable and Experienced in performing Business Development roles in which are part of performance metrics (Organic/Non- Organic) growth of corporate businessOrganizes, directs and coordinates with other managers' on planning and production for all contract support activity across multiple programs.Collaborate across disciplines to deliver creative solutions to client challenges.Actively contribute to business development proposals and the identification of new opportunities.Develop a deeper understanding of our firm's shared vision to build our clients' capabilities and unleash their potential.Forecast, manage, and report on project financials, planned vs actual project schedule, and resource utilization.Identify resources needed to complete work and collaborate with resource manager(s) to assemble appropriate skills/teams.Manage issues, risks, and changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools established within the PMO.Provide weekly status reports and can communicate to executive leadership.Job Specific Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesDemonstrated competency in working with a wide range of government departments with diverse business needs, interests, expectations and requirementsKnowledgeable of and skilled in implementing "best-in-class" concepts / principles within the areas of planning, scheduling, budgeting and operations for successful achievement of program objectivesExcellent leadership, capital planning, financial management, cost control, estimating and contract negotiating skillsAbility to manage multiple services and task order projects simultaneouslyAbility to make sound, well-informed and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisionsExcellent supervisory and management skills with ability to recruit, train, mentor and motivate othersSkilled in facilitating teamwork and coordinating efforts for the successful achievement of goalsAbility to manage and resolve conflicts, grievances, confrontations or disagreements in a constructive mannerExceptional organization, problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work effectively and Collaborate in a team environmentEducation/Experience RequiredBachelor's degree and at minimum (8) years' of experience in Federal Contracting; Experience managing mid-size to large, government contracts and has successfully performed in Financial Management/ Operational Management roles as well.CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONPMP Certification preferred / Six Sigma (Nice to Have)CLEARANCE: Governmet Clearance RequiredOne Federal Solution (OFS) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that is focused on providing leading edge solutions through a quick and agile delivery framework.
